Just finished publishing my Master’s thesis on OD practices in a global environment; focus is on securing new role within Talent Acquisition/Talent Management; I am open to relo both domestic and international
I am still actively pursuing a new career opportunity; getting ready to attend the SHRM Conference to network with new colleagues and volunteering at local Unemployment Office to teach Resume Writing and Interviewing skills
Just finished reading “Work Strategies for Women Leaders” – will prove to be most helpful in my current job search and setting career goals.
I had to post about this new movie on HBO “Too Big to Fail” – a great lesson for us HR people that smart people can make really dumb mistakes.
There were things I learned about the whole meltdown (and I am a CNBC junkie) that were even more horrifying than originally reported (McDonalds was having trouble meeting payroll with no lines of credit, GE was unable to sustain day to day operations???)
I highly recommend the book “Too Big to Fail” as well. I think everyone hopes this will never happen again, but without strict regulation – I think it’s only a matter of time.
I just updated my resume and career highlights to reflect project completions – SAP e-recruit implementation and filled a Regional (SVP) role through Social Networking – no agency/retainer fee!
Attended Creative Recruitment Techniques in NYC on 6/2 – highly recommend for strategy development and sourcing
I have updated my resume to reflect my specific recruitment experience – actual jobs and industries
